Systems Engineer

Gareth has recently joined MMI Engineering after five years working for United Utilities. In his time at “UU” Gareth worked as an operations Duty Manager where he was responsible for co-ordinating the company response to operational incidents and ensuring the best possible service to customers. He also worked as the companies maintenance manager, responsible for managing the content of the organisations FMEA workbank for scheduled maintenance activities in order to balance cost, service and risk.  Prior to leaving United Utilities Gareth was the Operations Manager at the Mersey Valley Processing Centre, the organisations strategic sludge incineration site, in this role he had overall responsibility for all aspects of production.

Prior to working at United Utilities Gareth trained as an aircraft engineer and spent 12 years serving in the Royal Air Force specialising in weapons systems. He has worked on several aircraft types and support units and was part of a team tasked with testing and integrating new equipment and capabilities into the operational environment.
